Yes: A candidate with a baccalaureate in engineering must have a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience subsequent to the awarding of the degree. A candidate with a master's in engineering must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience subsequent to the awarding of the degree. A candidate with a PhD in engineering must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience subsequent to the awarding of the degree.

Yes: A candidate that has made three (3) unsuccessful attempts at achieving a passing score shall only be eligible to take the next scheduled examination after providing documentation to the board of further study in the preparation of the exam.
